"Cinderella" by Ben Crocker (10-14 Dec 2024)

Poster

The last show I directed for St Michael’s Players wasn’t truly ‘mine’ - it belonged to the late, great Bryony Wilman. This show belongs to a triumvirate:
- First and foremost is Tessa, whose insight, energy, commitment and organisational skills have been awe-inspiring.
- Next is Cecilia, whose creative genius took the already excellent script to a whole new level.
- Then there’s Nick, who never missed a beat while guiding the band and cast to new musical heights.

Vicki and Susan completed my dream team, their sourcing and creation of costumes and props went far beyond anything that I could have wished for. To crown it all (pun intended) I was blessed with a truly wonderful cast, whose enthusiasm, talent and dedication brought the production to life. I’d particularly like to thank new members whose arrival at the auditions was like a gift from above. And, finally, a big thank you goes to you, our wonderful audience. Now, please sit back, enjoy the show - and sing along!
