Director’s Notes
Welcome to the best panto for yards around!

A lot of people have worked very long and very hard to prepare this year’s magnificent opus (O Puss) and we hope you’ll enjoy your visit to our humble theatre and be swept away by our 2014 pantomime, “Puss In Boots”

Now, pantomime is a strange tradition which, in my humble opinion, relies as much on the audience’s performance as that of the cast.

Great to see you again – Let’s party!

What They Said

"..when I came to see your Panto  at Chiswick which I must say made me hoot with laughter .. marvellous,  and  your musicians were fantastic" Amanda H
“such a laugh... now I'm ready for the festive season! well done!" Leslie-Anne S
"what a fantastic Panto this year, thank you for giving me another opportunity to be laugh.....Happy New Year" Isabelle M
"Also wanted to congratulate you on an awesome panto mark and I had jolly good fun!" Michelle T
"Always room for more panto. Excellent it was!" Dixit P
"Just to say GOOD JOB. The panto was your best yet." Jane G
"I can say I am a loyal spectator of St Michael's players. Everytime I go to see them I come back feeling wowed and wanting to see them more and more. This time "Puss in Boots" was not different; it was fabulous. I loved the superb acting, I loved the amazing live band and I am very proud of working with Chris Hulatt who directed the show this time. St Michael's players you are nothing short of fantastic, awesome, fabulous, and great! I am looking forward to being wowed again!!!” Marcia D
“We went to the Puss in Boots production on Saturday and had a wonderful time. Would highly recommend and really did laugh out loud several times. Looking forward to the next show.” Alan L
“I can’t stop listening to "we will rock you"... it’s becoming a serious problem.” James C
“We went on Friday night and had an absolute whale of a time. The cast were great and I can't wait to see what they do for next years panto” Steven S
"I came (to St Michael's Players panto) on Saturday night and thoroughly enjoyed myself. What a great production – I hope you had as much fun as your audience! You seem to have some real quality performers: the leading ladies, Puss, Esmerelda, Jack and the wicked fairy were wonderful, and the brothers and the ogre were very funny. You really felt that you were in the hands of experts.  And you were the perfect dame, truly grotesque, if I may say so, and really holding the stage. How Alex can ever admit to what his father does at weekends after seeing your striptease is beyond me.  All told, a great joy!" Adrian G
“Well done cast and crew on a super evening last night. All your undoubted hard work paid off. There were plenty of laughs and lots of great performances. Enjoy the rest of the run!” Guy F
“Wow - saw the show tonight and TOTALLY LOVED IT. Congrats to all.  Just a superb production. Despite my wish to be on stage - I really loved being a member of the audience, lapped it up and totally absorbed into the experience.  Great night out. So there's a re-run in January eh??? Mwah! Ade.” Adrian E
"Great stuff! A really jolly evening and splendid audience. Thought you were worried about filling seats!...I smiled all evening! The best for years" Dorothy H
“….that was fun, a right rollick” Dino
"Wowser, fabster, pussinbeautilicious :)” James
"Well done Elizabeth & the rest of the cast. What fun! Loved it.” Jane
"Enjoy the rest of the run & see you around in your Happy Days/Fonz outfit" Anon
"Well done Bunny Girl ... That was such fun. You should wear the bunny girl outfit more often... Suited you!!" Teleri J
"....really enjoyed panto last night, you and the cast made it look easy and fun, so all your hard work and I dare say more than a few late nights paid off. Congrats all round" Martin H
“Huge fun- a purrfect evening!” Suzy L
“St Michael's Players pantomime is truly the best value for money around. Local community entertainment at its best - We laughed our socks off!” Paul F
"I'm still smiling as I think back to your wonderful panto - thank you so much for kicking the season off for us in such great style!" Martine O
"Brilliant Puss in Boots panto by @StMsPlayers tonight. Well done everyone:) Purrrfect" Mrs Mitre on Twitter
