Poster
Set in a 1930's British Rail station buffet, the action takes place against a background of the spirited flirtation between the ticket collector, Albert, and Myrtle who runs the buffet. We see the pitiful love affair of Alec Harvey and Laura Jesson, its tentative beginnings and its inevitable end. They are both married, and though for several months they try to enjoy their affair, they find they cannot go on and it reaches its painful conclusion
