"Snow White" by Philip and Kathy Davey (10-13 Dec 2003)

Poster

This year marks a momentous anniversary and St Michael’s is proud to play its part.  Peter Woods’ first ingredients in a 60-year amateur stage career were assembled in 1943;  singing to the troops with the band of the Royal Tank Regiment as his backing group!  After 19 years with St Michael’s Players, Peter is still cooking up a storm in the am-dram kitchen.
Congratulations from us all and here’s to the next 60.

Whatever other blessings the state of matrimony has bestowed on Phil and Kathy Lye, literary inspiration has certainly been one - two pantomime scripts in three years: and what fun Players have had helping them (the scripts, not the Lyes) come to life on the stage.

Another welcome return is our director, Jane Atkinson, back from the wild moors of Derbyshire to add that certain je ne sais quoi to tonight’s serving.

Our audiences too, seem to have enjoyed our Christmas productions since we decided, somewhat belatedly in our existence, to plunge into panto in 1999.  We hope you will also like this year’s offering.  All of us at St Michael’s wish our friends and patrons a happy evening, a merry Christmas and a prosperous, peaceful New Year
