THE PLAY
Ten days before Christmas, Arnold Hassock is chairing a meeting of the Pendon Writers Circle. As the meeting progresses it becomes obvious why most of this disparate group will never get their work published. In an effort to get the group members to focus, or even make a start, Arnold suggests collaboration. But what theme could unite them? Is the collaboration destined to remain wishful thinking on Arnold's part? And what is the significance of Ilsa, Arnold's young work colleague? “If this were played upon a stage now, I could condemn it as an improbable fiction” Twelfth Night, Act III, Scene 4 Improbable Fiction was first performed on 26th May 2005 |
